Yeah, I’m pretty surprised Amazon hasn’t managed to fix the problem yet. If you watch the stock market at all, you can check the Google Finance stock quote page for Amazon (AMZN) and see half a dozen news articles about how this incident is already effecting their share price. Like this Reuters article.
My co-worker managed to get the page to load for a few minutes and then it went back to showing the error.
According to something else I read, they are losing somewhere around $29,000 every minute their site is down!
I would really hate to be the CTO for Amazon right now.
